Oracle 10g: Select this option if you choose to use Oracle. You should have installed and configured this database prior installing Flight Ops Doc Manager server. Moreover, a specific instance of database and a user/password should be configured for Flight Ops Doc Manager.

You must enter the following information that will be given by your DBA: name of the instance dedicated to Flight Ops Doc Manager, user/password of the account that permits JDBC connection, IP address of the database engine.
Click on 'Next' to validate your database choice and navigate through the LSBM panel.

LSBM install path: The path to the LSBM install directory. You may click on browse to open a file explorer.
•
Manufacturer code: Code attributed by ARINC to each Airline company. (refer to: http://www.arinc.com/aeec/projects/manufacturer_code/index.html)
•
Certificate:
o
File: Enter the full path.full name of the certificate. (i.e. c:\program files\certificate repository\my certificate.pfx). You may click on browse to open a file explorer.
o
Password: The certificat operates in a basic trust mode, you shall enter the password associated to the certificate
Notes:
•
The version 3.1a of LSBM is required. Only this version is compatible with the Flight OpsDoc Manager 7.1.
•
Certificate path and password can be changed via the Flight OpsDoc Manager interface once installed.
Click on 'Next' to validate your database choice and navigate through the HTTP Server software installation.
Next panel gives the choice between BASIC mode or LPC Browser mode.

In case of “LPC Browser” mode choice, the path to the encrypted key file is required. The “Browse” allows to access and select this file.

Next panel proceed to the Apache HTTP Server software installation.

The Flight Ops Doc Manager uses an HTTP server to deploy its clients. The Apache software can be installed if it’s not already on the server.
Click on the next button to switch to the Apache installer. Refer to the Apache software documentation if you have some specific needs.
