Click on Start button to start Flight Ops Doc Manager server. If not already started, Flight Ops Doc Manager database server (HSQLDB) will be started.
You can also manage Flight Ops Doc Manager services from the windows services window:

Start Apache Server

After the installation of the application, you may need to restart the Apache server:

Double-click on the apache icon in the systray .

Backup and restore archives
There are no automatic backup and restore process.
4.1.4.1
Standalone mode
To make a backup of all data managed by Flight Ops Doc Manager in standalone mode, you shall do a copy of the complete installation directory.
For a restore just put back all those files in their initial directory.
Please make sure that the Flight Ops Doc Manager application is not running while doing a backup or a restore.
You can also backup/restore the document units that are checked out. To do so you shall make an archive of the workspace directory. This one is located in your document and settings directory under the subdirectory fosp.

server. Then open the Flight Ops Doc Manager monitor on the server (right click on ) and stop both application and database (if HSQLDB was chosen during the installation).
The backup procedure depends on your choice of database engine (done during the installation process).
The directory structure of the installation path is the following:
If Flight Ops Doc Manager is installed with HSQLDB then this directory stores all DB tables
Contains all the data managed by Flight Ops Doc Manager that are not in the DB engine (images, DU content, models …)

So to perform a backup you shall save the following directories:

Hsql_files: only if you’ve installed the Flight Ops Doc Manager application with HSQLDB
If you’ve chosen a different DB engine than HSQLDB, please have a look to its documentation in order to perform a database backup.
You can restart Flight Ops Doc Manager server from the service monitor.
