ADMINISTRATION OF THE PRODUCT
This chapter is dedicated to the administration of the product and of all self-sufficient (independent) modules if any.
4.1
IT administrator tasks
In this chapter are presented, explained and detailed all the tasks to be performed by the administrator (IT matters are covered here) on the product and self-sufficient modules.
4.1.1
Start/Stop the application service in server mode
In Server mode, Flight Ops Doc Manager application is installed as a service. You can manage this service through the systray application. Double-click on the following icon to open the monitor.
If you’ve selected the HSQLDB engine, you will see 3 tabs representing:
Flight Ops Doc Manager server service
HSQLDB service
About tab
The second one is of course unavailable if a different database engine has been selected.

Stopping the services
Click on Stop button to stop Flight Ops Doc Manager server. All users must be disconnected before stopping Flight Ops Doc Manager server.
Click on Stop button to stop Flight Ops Doc Manager Database server (HSQLDB). If not already stopped, Flight Ops Doc Manager server will be stopped.

Starting the services
Click on Start button to start Flight Ops Doc Manager Database server.
