on strategic issues, in particular fees and charges, work

AEA advises on alternative solutions which will lead to reduced
cost structures throughout the value chain.
Its Action Plan 2004-2009, published in February 2005,
identifies the existing weaknesses within the regulation of the
global air transport industry and provides direction for
regulators and service providers in the context of a forward
looking European Aviation Policy, which would create
transparency and consistency.
