* N1 and N2 speed at time highest LPT vibration occurred
* Time from start of flight that highest LPT vibration happened.
Training Information Point
You use the up and down arrow BITE switches to navigate
through the data. The navigation is faster when you push and
hold the BITE switch.
Push the NO BITE switch at any display to go back to the start of
the FLIGHT HISTORY menu.

Purpose
You use the BALANCE ENGINES menu to get access to the
these balance functions:
* SHOW IMBALANCE DATA?
* EDIT ENG BALANCE PARTS?
* ENGINE TRIM BALANCE?.
General
You use the SHOW IMBALANCE DATA menu to see vibration
data for the last flight (cycle or leg) of each engine. The AVM
signal conditioner uses this set of data to calculate the balance
solution. The data that shows in this menu is different that the
flight history data. See ENGINE BALANCE PG 2 for more
information about the SHOW IMBALANCE DATA menu.
You use the EDIT ENG BALANCE PARTS menu to see or modify
engine fan balance weight information in AVM nonvolatile
memory. See ENGINE BALANCE PG 3 for more information.
The ENGINE TRIM BALANCE menu lets you do these tasks:
* Make the AVM signal conditioner compute the balance
solution for 1 plane (fan only)
* Make the AVM signal conditioner compute the balance
solution for 2 planes (fan and low pressure turbine).
See the ENGINE BALANCE PG 4 for more information about the
balance function.

General
You push the YES BITE switch at the SHOW IM-BALANCE
DATA? display to see the data that the AVM signal conditioner
uses for balance solution calculations. An option to see engine
1 data shows first. Push the YES BITE switch to see data for
engine 1. Push the NO BITE switch to go to engine 2 data. The
NO IM-BAL DATA message will show if the AVM signal
conditioner does not have data for the selected engine.
You can see vibration data for the last flight (cycle or leg) of
each engine. The AVM makes a record of fan and low pressure
turbine (LPT) vibrations during engine operation in six different
N1 speed ranges. These are the N1 speed ranges for which the
signal conditioner saves data:
* 62.5 % to 67.4 % (Range 1)
* 67.5 % to 72.5 % (Range 2)
* 77.5 % to 82.4 % (Range 3)
* 82.5 % to 87.4 % (Range 4)
* 87.5 % to 92.4 % (Range 5)
* 92.5 % to 97.5 % (Range 6).
This fan data shows for each speed range:
* Speed range number (1-6)
* N1 speed (YY.Y) at which data was recorded
* Fan vibration (ZZ.Z) in mils, double amplitude (not same as
units vibration shows on CDS)
* Phase angle (TTT) of fan imbalance in degrees.
This LPT data shows for each speed range:
* Speed range number (1-6)
* N1 speed (YY.Y) at which data was recorded
* LPT vibration (ZZ.Z) in mils, double amplitude
* Phase angle (TTT) of LPT imbalance in degrees.
The display shows 0% N1 for a speed range if the AVM does not
record vibration data for that speed range. This happens if the
engine does not operate in the speed range for more than 5
seconds.
