INTERFACES
A lavatory unit has several interfaces:
- Typical individual and exhaust air interface.
- Typical water and waste interface.
- Plug which supplies power for the different
electrical systems which are installed in the
lavatory.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
These are the safety precautions for the installation
of a lavatory unit.
R/I SAFETY PRECAUTIONS :
* Make sure that corresponding circuit breakers are
open, safetied and tagged.
* Drain the potable water system and the toilet
system.
* Do not service the potable water system.
* Do not service the toilet system.
WARNINGS : * AS SOLVENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
MATERIAL ARE USED,
BE SURE THAT SUFFICIENT AIR IS SUPPLIED.
* PUT NOTHING IN YOUR MOUTH.
* DON’T SMOKE.

DOOR OPERATION
During normal door operation, when the indicator reads
VACANT, the door can be opened from the outside by
rotating the latch.
To open the door from the inside, the locking device
has to be pushed to unlock the door and then the knob
has to be rotated.
In case of emergency, the door can be unlocked from
outside without using a special tool.
Lift the lavatory cover-plate and push the unlocking
pin.
Then rotate the latch to open the door.

PAX SEAT
Passenger seats are designed for the comfort and safety
of the passengers.
They are located in the cabin, from the cockpit
partition to the aft pressure bulkhead.
PAX SEAT DESCRIPTION
The passenger seat consists of a framework assembly
with:
- an upholstered seatpan,
- an upholstered backrest assembly,
- a folding table,
- seat belts,
- an upholstered armrest and,
- a pocket.
FRAMEWORK
The seat framework holds the seatpan, backrest, armrest
and table.
A luggage bar is fitted to the front framework legs.
Holders for life vests are found below each seatpan.
The seat electronic box which serves the passenger
