CAUTION
THE INBOARD THRUST REVERSER HALVES MUST NOT BE OPENED UNLESS INBOARD LEADING EDGE SLATS ARE RETRACTED TO CRUISE POSITION AND PLACARDED AS FOLLOWS:
1.
RETRACT INBOARD LEADING EDGE SLATS.
2.
ATTACH DO-NOT-OPERATE IDENTIFIER TO FLAP
CONTROL LEVER.
3.
CHECK THAT ALTERNATE FLAP SLAT POSITION SELECTOR ON PILOTS P3-1 PANEL IS IN NORM POSITION AND ATTACH DO-NOT-OPERATE IDENTIFIER.
IF EXTENSIVE ENGINE WORK IS BEING ACCOMPLISHED, IT MAY BE DESIRABLE TO DEACTIVATE THE PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE LEADING EDGE DRIVE SYSTEMS PER MM 27-81-00.
