MAINTENANCE MANUAL
HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR FILLING INSTRUCTIONS:
DO NOT OPERATE HAND PUMP OR RESERVOIR PRESSURE FILLING SYSTEM WITH
CAUTION:
VALVE IN "CLOSED" POSITION: MAXIMUM FILLING PRESSURE 150 P.S.I.
WHEN SERVICING AFTER MAINTENANCE INVOLVING FLUID LOSS FILL RESERVOIR
CAUTION:
TO FULL LEVEL AND CYCLE FLIGHT CONTROLS AS REQUIRED TO REFILL SYSTEM VOIDS. CHECK AND RESERVICE RESERVOIR TO PROPER FULL LEVEL AFTER CYCLING.

FOR MANUAL PUMPING: REMOVE SUCTION HOSE FROM STOWED POSITION. THOROUGHLY
CLEAN HOSE NOZZLE BEFORE PLACING IN FLUID CONTAINER.
____________________ CONNECT GROUND SERVICE HOSE TO "PRESSURE FILL" PORT.

FOR PRESSURE FILLING:

OPERATE SELECTOR VALVE LEVER AND SELECT SYSTEM AS REQUIRED. WITH BRAKE ACCUM. CHARGED BY RIGHT SYSTEM CHECK READING ON QUANTITY INDICATOR.

LEFT OR RIGHT SYS: SYSTEM COLOR CODE:
REFILL 5.50 U.S. GALLONS
LEFT - RED
CENTER SYS: FULL 3.50 U.S. GALLONS RIGHT - GREEN
REFILL 2.80 U.S. GALLONS CENTER - BLUE
4. FILL WITH BMS 3-11 FLUID ONLY
______________________5. AFTER CHECKING SYSTEMS: ENSURE THAT SELECTOR LEVER
IS IN FLIGHT "CLOSED" POSITION.
DISCONNECT GROUND SERVICE HOSE AND REPLACE FILLING PORT SEALING CAPS.
STOW HAND PUMP HANDLE. DRAIN SUCTION HOSE AND WIPE OFF NOZZLE BEFORE STOWING.
