CAUTION
IF APU HAS SHOUT DOWN DUE TO LOW OIL PRESSURE OR HIGH OIL TEMPERATURE (AS INDICATED BY APU BITE PANEL), DO NOT ADD OIL BEFORE PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING CHECK:
1.
REMOVE PLUGE OR OIL TEMP. SWITCH, IF INSTALLED (R.H. SIDE APU BELOW GENERATOR PAD).
2.
IF LESS THEN ONE CUP OF OIL DRAINS OUT, GENERATOR SCAVENGE PUMP IS OKAY AND OIL MAY BE ADDED TO APU AS REQUIRED.
3.
IF MORE THAN ONE CUP OF OIL DRAINS OUT,GENERATOR SCAVENGE PUMP HAS FAILED. DO NOT ADD OIL, DO NOT RUN APU. REPLACE PUMP BEFORE SERVICING AND RUNNING APU. (REFER TO MAINTENANCE MANUAL FOR PUMP REPLACEMENT)
