B. Disengage APU compartment access door support and stow rods. Close and latch access doors.
C. Close the circuit breaker on M280 module-APU accessory unit on E3-3 electronic shelf.
D. Position BATTERY SWITCH to ON and remove placards.

LOW OIL PRESSURE SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Prepare for Low Pressure Switch Removal
A. Position BATTERY SWITCH and APU START SWITCH to OFF and placard that APU maintenance is "in work."
B. Open the circuit breaker on M280 module-APU accessory unit on E3-3 electronic shelf.
C. Open APU compartment access door latches and open door. Install door support rods.
D. Support shroud, open shroud latches, and remove shroud.
CAUTION: EXERCISE EXTREME CARE NOT TO DAMAGE SHROUD DRAIN LINES WHEN HANDLING SHROUD.
2. Remove Low Oil Pressure Switch
A. Disconnect electrical plug from switch. (See figure 401.)
B. Remove switch from manifold fitting.
C. Remove packing from switch.
3. Install Low Oil Pressure Switch
A. Install new packing on switch. (See figure 401.)
B. Install switch on manifold fitting.
C. Connect electrical plug to switch.
D. Test switch operation. Refer to 49-11-0.
4. Restore Airplane to Normal Configuration
A. Position lower shroud against upper shroud and close shroud latches.
CAUTION: MAINTAIN A MINIMUM CLEARANCE OF 0.18 INCH BETWEEN ENGINE PLUMBING, FIRE DETECTOR, CLAMPS AND INSIDE SURFACE OF LOWER SHROUD.
EXERCISE EXTREME CARE NOT TO DAMAGE SHROUD DRAIN LINES WHEN HANDLING SHROUD.

TACHOMETER GENERATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Prepare for Tachometer Generator Removal
A. Position BATTERY SWITCH and APU START SWITCH to OFF and placard that APU maintenance is "in work."
B. Open the circuit breaker on M280 module - APU accessory unit on E3-3 electronic shelf.
C. Open APU compartment access door latches and open door. Install door support rods.
D. Support lower shroud, open shroud latches, and remove shroud.
CAUTION: EXERCISE EXTREME CARE NOT TO DAMAGE SHROUD DRAIN LINES WHEN HANDLING SHROUD.
2. Equipment and Materials
A. Grease, MIL-G-23827 (Ref 20-30-21)
3. Remove Tachometer Generator (Fig. 401)
A. Disconnect electrical plug from tachometer generator.
B. Remove attaching nuts and washers.
C. Carefully withdraw tachometer generator in a straight line.
D. Remove old gasket and discard.
4. Install Tachometer Generator (Fig. 401)
A. Install new gasket on mount pad.
B. Lightly coat tachometer generator input shaft with grease.
C. Engage tachometer generator input shaft with drive shaft of accessory drive gear and slide generator onto mounting studs.
CAUTION: ENSURE THAT INPUT DRIVE SHAFT IS ENGAGED PROPERLY BEFORE SLIDING TACHOMETER GENERATOR ONTO MOUNTING STUDS.
