NOTE: For SPZ-8400 equipped airplanes, the tone generator test is
performed using the pilot’s display controller TEST menu. Selecting
TONE results in the test tone: a Klaxon (hi-lo-hi-lo) landing gear unsafe
tone. While in the test mode, the pilot can adjust tone generator volume.
The test is completed by selecting the RETURN prompt to return to the
TEST main menu.
