The Military ATM Board (MAB), composed of national
heads of military air traffic management, plays a similar
role to the ANSB and will ensure consistency of the
EUROCONTROL work programme with military strategies
and plans.
Complementing these are the multi-disciplinary groups
providing advice on specific areas of business such as
the Stakeholder Consultation Group (SCG), which focuses
on ATM system development, supporting the
cooperative network design (CND) and the Operation
Coordination Group (OCG) focusing on network operation
in support of the pan-European air traffic flow and
capacity management (ATFCM) operations.
As a result, stakeholder relations are based on the
transparency of proposals, involvement and engagement
in the decision-making process and commitment to
implementation of the decisions taken. Simplification
of the decision-making and consultation process are
currently under revision.
