DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
This chapter defines standard exterior and interior placards and markings that display aircraft identification, safety and maintenance information as well as information required by official authorities.
Positioning procedure of markings and inscriptions is given in Chapter 20-00-05.
2. DEFINITION
A. Exterior placards and markings - refer to 11-20-00
This section defines aircraft exterior placards and markings. This section also includes placards and
markings installed in areas accessible by opening access doors and by removing engine cowlings.
B. Interior placards and markings - refer to 11-30-00
This section defines aircraft interior placards and markings installed in the cabin and cockpit areas and in areas accessible by opening doors inside the aircraft.
