[1] The flight management computer system (FMCS) is one of the sub-system of the Flight Management system. The other subsystems are the Inertial Reference System, the Electronic Flight Instrument System, the Digital Flight Control System and the Autothrottle. The FMCS consists of the flight management computer (FMC) and two auxiliary navigation control and display unit (ANCDU).
