PYLON -GENERAL DESCRIPTION
General
The pylon attaches to the wing and contains the strut (not shown). The strut supports the engine with forward and aft engine mounts.
The pylon also contains these parts:

Electrical lines
*
Fuel lines
*
Hydraulic lines
*
Pneumatic lines
*
Fairings.
The fairings are aerodynamic covers for the strut. The fairings have access doors and panels to get access to components inside the pylon.
