R - replace the HJ1 harness (Ref. AMM TASK 71-52-43-000-004) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 71-52-43-400-004).
R (c) If the fault continues during subsequent flights:
R - replace the ECU (4000KS) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-60-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-60-400-001).
R (d) If the fault continues during subsequent flights:
R - replace the EIU-1 (1KS1) (Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-000-040) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 73-25-34-400-040).

R B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.
R (1) No additional maintenance action is required if the fault is not
R confirmed.
R (2) Repeat the fault isolation procedure if the fault continues.

R A. Do the operational test of the ignition system, by performing an aural
R check of the igniter plug operation (Ref. AMM TASK 74-00-00-710-040).
R NOTE : The igniter test will spark the right igniter plug (A) for 10
____ R seconds, wait 2 seconds then spark the left igniter plug (B) for R 10 seconds. This test provides for an aural feedback of proper R ignition operation . No CFDS test results are available.

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
R A. The failure message IGN1, ECU is generated if there is no light off
R detected 10 seconds after the fuel is turned on.
R (1) If an audible spark cannot be heard on the right igniter plug (A):
R - replace the right igniter plug (A) (Ref. AMM TASK 74-21-30-000-002)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 74-21-30-400-002).
R (a) If an audible spark is not heard:
R - replace the right ignition lead (Ref. AMM TASK 74-21-10-000-R 002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 74-21-10-400-002).
R (b) If an audible spark is not heard:
R - replace the upper exciter box (Ref. AMM TASK 74-11-10-000-002)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 74-11-10-400-002).
