Master WARN Light
Flash red for level 3 Warnings. Accompanied
by an aural Warning.
The lights extinguish when:
· Either MASTER WARN light is
pushed.
· The Warn no longer exists.
· The CLR key on the ECAM Control
Panel is pushed.
· The EMER CANC key on the ECAM
Control Panel is pushed.
The aural Warning stops when:
· Either MASTER WARN light is
pushed.
· The Warning no longer exists.

Control Panel is pushed.
Master CAUT Light
Illuminate amber for level 2 cautions.
Accompanied by a single chime.
The lights extinguish when:
· Either MASTER CAUT light is pushed.
· The Caution no longer exists.
· The CLR key on the ECAM Control
Panel is pushed.
· The EMER CANC key on the ECAM
Control Panel is pushed.
CHRONO Switch
· First push causes Chronometer time to
display in boxed format in lowerleft
comer of onside
ND. Operates
independently of clock Chronometer
and other ND Chronometer.
· Second push freezes the displayed
value.
· Third push resets the Chronometer
and removes the display.
Side Stick Priority Lights
Arrow Light
Illuminates red in front of pilot losing authority.
Extinguishes when sidestick activation is reestablished
by:
· Release of other priority switch in less
than 30 seconds.
· Pushing either priority switch
momentarily to cancel a latched
priority condition.
Captain's Light
Illuminates green to indicate associated
Sidestick has established priority by activation
of its priority switch and the opposite Sidestick
is not in neutral.
Extinguishes when the opposite ( F/O Light ) is
returned to neutral.

Captain's Forward Panel(A320)
GPWS G
/ S
· GPWS Illuminates
red when any
GPWS mode from 1 through 4 is
activated and an aural warning
sounds.
· G / S Illuminates
amber when GPWS
mode 5 is activated and the "Glide
Slope" aural warning sounds. Pressing
the switch silences the "Glide Slope"
warning and turns off the G/S light.
·
PFD Brightness Control Knob
Manually adjusts onside
PFD brightness.
When PFD is selected OFF, the PFD image is
auto,atically displayed on the onside
ND. (ND
may be recovered by pushing the PFD/ND
XFR switch.)
PFD/ND XFR Switch
Interchanges the onside
PFD and ND
displays.
ND Brightness Control Knob
Manually adjusts onside
ND brightness. Outer
knob controls the brightness of the weather
radar image only. Inner knob controls the
general brightness of the ND symbology.
Loud Speaker Knob
Adjust loudspeaker audio volume. Aural alert,
CVR test, and voice message level are not
controlled by these knobs.
Console/Floor Lighting Selector
Controls the intensity of the side consoles,
briefcase areas and the floor around the pilot
seats
