You must work on a computer with a CD/DVD writer and with a standard CD and DVD recording application (NERO, Easy CD…).
2.
Have LPC Browser installation CD delivered by Airbus.
3.
Publish the manuals you want to set on the LPC Browser autorun CD.
5.2
SETUP OF THE LPC BROWSER DIRECTORY
Setup and configure LPC Browser on your local disk. Follow LPC Browser installation guide.
Your local installation directory will be called in the rest of the document: <LPC Browser install dir>.
5.3
COPY OF THE MANUALS FILES TO LOCAL DISK
Copy all the published manuals placed in the correct path in <LPC Browser install dir>.
Note: you can have more than one manual loaded in LPC Browser
5.4
CONFIGURE MANUALS DISPLAY
1.
Change the <LPC Browser install dir>\LPC Browser-data\aib.view property. Uncheck “read only” attribute.
2.
Set the right parameters in the <LPC Browser install dir>\ foct-data\aib.view.
For each manual, remove the full path to the manual, set the relative path to the manual directories:
i.e. We will display the two manuals:

"foct-fcom"

Note: Generally the name of the manual folders are NOT in capital letter (i.e. “FOCT-FCOM“= wrong; “foct-fcom” = good)

CONFIGURATION BOOKMARKS AND NOTES
Some LPC Browser configuration parameters are given directly in the LPC Browser launching command line. The parameters given in this launch command supersede any other parameter that can be found in LPC Browser configuration files.
The fourth parameter: default: "./LPC Browser-data/" sets the path or URL of the directory containing the user data (bookmark and note file). Warning: the directory shall exists!
By default: "./foct-data/" is used, if LPC Doc BrowserLPC Browser is run from a CD it points to the CD structure itself. You can set it to a temporary folder it for example : “C:/TEMP/” (use slashes). Warning: the users will loose their bookmarks if they change of computer.
The run-ois-control.bat will be like the attached document.
The concerned line is:

CONFIGURATION OF THE LOG FILES
LPC Browser default configuration stores the log files in <LPC Browser install dir>\foct -log
This directory will be in read only (on the CD) and shall be changed to a local directory with read-write access.
You can set it to a temporary folder it for example : “C:/TEMP/” (use slashes). Warning: the users will loose their bookmarks if they change of computer.
Open <LPC Browser install dir>\foct-conf\log4j.properties
(By default the value of log4j.appender.file.file is foct-log/FOCTlog.log)
Modify the following line:

5.7
PREPARATION OF THE AUTORUN FILES
In <LPC Browser install dir>, create a txt file. Rename it “autorun.inf”
Copy the following lines:
