INTRODUCTION
1.1
PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT
The objective of this document is to:

Provide administrator with deployments and configuration methods
•
Detail administrator tasks
•
Troubleshooting
It takes the IT user through all the steps in order to give access to the operational documentation to the users in complete autonomy for example for a pilot or for authority in order to review manuals.
1.2
INSTALLATION TYPES
LPC Browser is a viewer that permits to consult Flight Operations manuals (AFM, FCOM, FCTM, MMEL, CDL, WBM, and CCOM). It is a common way to access flight ops documentation.
It can be used on different environments, by different categories of people. Documentation should be easy to access and should have the same display on every platform.

Layout and font consistency.
⇒
Same display than in the cockpit.
Autorun CD creation procedure describes the steps to follow in order to create an autorun CD (CD that launches automatically LPC Doc Manage with loaded documentation when CD is inserted).
Network parameters procedure describes the steps to follow in order to put:

The software on a shared drive.

MANUAL FILES ON A SHARED FILE SERVER
This deployment of LPC Browser is useful in order to have a centralized management of the manuals.
- LPC Browser is deployed locally,
- Manuals are reached through a centralized file server.

- Limitation: LPC BROWSER Check function is not working with that type of installation: The files in the manual folder are in read only mode. See: 6.3 LPC BROWSER Check When manuals on CD, Network Share, Web Server.

PRELIMINARY TASKS
1.
Get "LPC Browser autorun CD" directory from the last LPC Doc Manager/LPC Browser CD delivered by Airbus.
2.
Publish the manuals you want to set on the LPC Browser autorun CD.
