test/crew training is prohibited.
E. Supplement 5A − Airworthiness Flight Test/Crew Training (Airplanes on the HKCAD
Registry)
When dispatching with one hydraulic AC motor pump inoperative, airworthiness flight
test/crew training is prohibited.
F. Supplement 6 − Flight with Landing Gear Down
(1) WEIGHT ALTITUDE TEMPERATURE LIMITS
When dispatching with one hydraulic AC motor pump inoperative, the following penalty
must be applied to the performance data as a weight decrement:
FLIGHT SEGMENT WEIGHT DECREMENT (%)
Take-off – Flaps 20° 16%
Landing – Approach Flaps 20°
– Landing Flaps 45° 13%
(2) CLIMB GRADIENTS AND CLIMB SPEEDS
When dispatching with one hydraulic AC motor pump inoperative, the following gradient
penalty must be subtracted from the climb gradient data:
CLIMB GRADIENT GRADIENT PENALTY (%)
Obstacle Clearance Reference Climb Gradient
(Flaps 20°) 2.9%
Final Segment / Enroute (Flaps 0°) 3.3%
Approach (Flaps 20°) 2.6%
Landing (Flaps 45°) Not applicable
The approach climb speed in the flaps 20° configuration must be increased by 2 knots.

NOTE
This Airplane Flight Manual Supplement is applicable to
airplanes 5301 to 5579 with more than 300 flight hours and
NOT incorporating Alert Service Bulletin A604–27–011, Part B.
This AFM Supplement is also applicable unless it can be
established that any 600–59154–5 AOA transducer installed
has less than 50 operating hours.
1. INTRODUCTION
These data complement or supersede data contained in the basic Airplane Flight Manual and
Supplements. This Supplement must therefore be used in conjunction with the basic Airplane
Flight Manual and Supplements. The effect of this Supplement on the basic Airplane Flight
Manual and Supplements is given in paragraphs (2) to (7).
2. GENERAL
The general information in Chapter 1 is applicable.
3. LIMITATIONS
The limitations in Chapter 2 are applicable, except as modified by the following:
A. Operating Limitations
Do not perform any in-flight training of abrupt maneuvers (touch and go, or go-around) or
slowdowns below 1.1 Vs.
B. Flight Management System
On airplanes 5500 and subsequent and airplanes 5301 to 5499 incorporating Service
Bulletin 604–34–031:
Use of the TAKEOFF REF and APPROACH REF pages on the FMS CDUs, and of the
TAKEOFF REFERENCE and APPROACH REFERENCE MFDs text pages is prohibited.
4. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
The emergency procedures in Chapter 3 are applicable.
5. NORMAL PROCEDURES
The normal procedures in Chapter 4 are applicable, except as modified by the following:
A. Take-Off
Rotate smoothly at normal rate (typically 3 to 4 degrees per second) during take-off and do
not over rotate.
6. ABNORMAL PROCEDURES
The abnormal procedures in Chapter 5 are applicable, except as modified by the following:
A. Single Engine Procedures
Reduce the initial target pitch altitude for take-off and go-around by 2 degrees.
