COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
It is installed in the PTU supply line.
When the solenoid is energized the valve closes.
When the solenoid valve is de-energized, the spool
moves to open the valve.
PRIORITY VALVE

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The green priority valve is installed on the PTU
manifold.
It is used to isolate the secondary flight controls
from pressure supply in case of low hydraulic pressure.
BRAKE SELECTOR VALVE

It allows the normal braking system to be pressurized.

RESERVOIR PRESSURIZATION
DEPRESSURIZATION OPERATION
Each hydraulic reservoir can be depressurized
independently.
Open the ground service panel access door.
In the cockpit, open, safety and tag the circuit
breakers.
To depressurize the hydraulic reservoir, ground
equipment may be used.
If it is not, on the ground service panel, turn the
assembly of the reservoir depressurization valve
clockwise through 90 degrees.
WARNING
Pay attention, protect your hands and face from the
air which comes out when you open reservoir manual
depressurization valves.
The air may be hot and contain hydraulic fluid.
Reservoir air pressure can be monitored on the
reservoir pressure gauge.
Keep the depressurization valve open if it is necessary
to depressurize a reservoir during a maintenance
operation. This prevents accidental pressurization of
a completed.
Close the depressurization valve when the maintenance
operation is completed.

RESERVOIR PRESSURIZATION
PRESSURIZATION OPERATION
To pressurize the reservoir, make sure that the
depressurization valve is closed.
Note that the three hydraulic reservoirs are
pressurized through the air pressure manifold, thus
they are pressurized at the same time.
Open the blue hydraulic compartment door to gain access
to the air pressure manifold.
Remove the cap from the ground connector.
Connect the pressurizing tool to the ground connector.
Turn the nut to open the ground connector valve.
Fill the reservoir with air until 50 psi is shown on
