Summary:  There is a possibility that under high centrifugal load, the castellations of the Compressor Turbine (CT) disc retaining nut bend outward then contact and mark the CT disc internal bore. Replace the CT disc retaining castellation nut with a redesigned one that is more resistant to high centrifugal load. Also, the introduction of the new nut necessitates the replacement of the key washer and the retaining ring locking device used at this location. A one-time inspection of the CT disc internal bore is also performed.
