A. Lifting
(1)
Slowly operate the controls of the hydraulic jack. Continue until you get a clearance of 60 mm (2.3622 in.) between the NLG wheels and the ground.
(2)
Tighten the safety device of the jack as you lift the aircraft.
(3)
On the panel 110VU:
-set the PARKING BRK control switch to ON.
(4)
On the panel 400VU:
-make sure that the pressure indication on the Yellow brake-pressure triple-indicator is correct.
-if necessary, pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-002).
(5)
Put the safety stay in position between FR73 and FR74. NOTE : When you do the landing gear extension and retraction test:

A. Safety Precautions
(1)
In the cockpit, make sure that the landing gear control lever is set to down.
(2)
Make sure that nobody is in the aircraft.
(3)
Make sure that the safety devices are installed on the landing gears (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-001)
(4)
Make sure that the passenger/crew doors, the emergency exits and the cargo doors are closed and locked or fully open and locked.
(5)
Remove the safety stay.
