The LOGBOOK STATUS panel
The objective of this panel is to provide the user with the “Aircraft technical status” based on information data coming from eLogbook application. This status is composed of:

the open items list

the deferred MEL items list

the deferred CDL items list
The MEL/CDL items related to deferred defects are set during the maintenance phase by using eLogbook application. They contain information related to the Aircraft that must be available to the pilot(s) in order to prepare the flight and to treat on the LG domain the associated WHAT IF impact. On this basis, the pilot will accept (or not) the Aircraft.
On the LG domain, the user should manage the “Ticked” MEL items and keep them available to all the performance applications in order to compute performance data.
This operation must take place during or after the maintenance phase.
In case of disagreement between maintenance and pilot about deferred items, a new maintenance phase could be performed. Therefore, the new status of the aircraft is pushed to LG.
Figure 12: The LOGBOOK STATUS Panel
The LOGBOOK STATUS panel displays the Open and Deferred Items coming from eLogbook application. This panel is composed of three tables:
1 - Open Items
2 - Deferred MEL items
3 - Deferred CDL items
The first column (REPORT) of each table contains the description of eLogbook items and the second column contains a link to the associated documentation.
At any time the user can ask LPC DOC BROWSER to update the LOGBOOK STATUS panel with the current list of eLogbook items by pressing the [SYNCHRO LOGBOOK] button.
