Start installation machine, log on and verify that the Windows version is Win-dows 2000 SP3 (Control Panel / System).

Java environment check
Validate that the Sun’s JDK is installed and is referenced in the system PATH environment vari-able
Open a console and type the ‘java’ command help description of the java command must be dis-played.
Validate that it’s the right version (according to the logistics prere-quisites)
Open a console and type the ‘java –version’ com-mand it must be at the one indicated in the logistics prerequisites
Check that the JAVA_HOME environment variable is correctly set and points to the Sun’s JDK directory.
