situational awareness information. It is not intended as a means for navigation or flight
guidance. The aircraft symbol is not to be used for conducting instrument approaches
or departures, and it should not be relied upon during low visibility taxi operations.
Position accuracy, orientation, and related guidance must be assured by other means
of required navigation.
2. Operators must have back-up charts available to the flight crew.
3. Database currency must be verified prior to use via database effectivity page.
4. The flight crew is responsible for verifying availability of charts for the planned flight.
OPERATING PROCEDURES
The operating procedures are the same as those in the basic FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual
except as follows:
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
No change.
ABNORMAL PROCEDURES
The Garmin FliteCharts and the Jeppesen ChartView System features are not available when the
MFD or PFD is in the reversion mode.
NORMAL PROCEDURES

DESCRIPTION
The Garmin FliteCharts or the Jeppesen ChartView System allows display of Jeppesen charts on the
MFD. On applicable charts, the airplane position is shown on the chart with a magenta symbol.
Database effectivity is shown on the MFD power-up page. Databases that are out of date are shown
in amber.
Backup charts must be available to the flight crew when using FliteCharts or ChartView as the
primary chart reference.
For additional information, refer to the Garmin G1000 Cockpit Reference Guide for the Cessna
Citation Mustang or the Garmin G1000 Integrated Flight Deck Pilot’s Guide, Cessna Citation
Mustang.

INTRODUCTION
This supplement is part of, and must be placed in, the basic FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual
for Airplanes 510-0001 and On. The information contained herein supplements the information of the
basic FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual and is applicable when conducting approaches with
approach glidepath angles from 4.5° up to and including 5.5°. For limitations, procedures and
performance information not contained in this supplement, consult the basic FAA Approved Airplane
Flight Manual.
OPERATING LIMITATIONS
WEIGHT AND CENTER OF GRAVITY LIMITATIONS
Normal AFM center of gravity and weight limits apply.
