RAIM and FOM indicate current uncertainty of position expressed in nautical miles. HDOP and
VDOP are numbers that rate current satellite geometry in the horizontal and vertical axis with 1
being the best geometry. Normally HDOP and VDOP numbers are below 10.
To view the GPS STATUS 2/2 on the FMS CDU, proceed as follows:

Indicates that GPWS
is inoperative. GND
PROX FAIL will also
be annunciated when
the FLAP OVERRIDE
switch is OVRD and
IAS > 250 knots.
GPWS FLAP OVRD
Indicates that FLAP
OVRD switch has been
selected and flap aural
warning has been
muted.
GPWS G/S OVRD
Indicates that G/S
WARN switch has been
selected and glideslope
aural has been muted.
LSTRK FAIL
Indicates that Lasertrack
is inoperative, or has
been turned OFF.
