Communication Jacks
Used for appropriate microphone or headphone plugs.
Push–To–Talk Switch

INT (interphone) –

Note: If the Control Wheel Microphone/Interphone switch is latched in the INT position and the associated audio panel PTT switch or hand microphone is used with the PA Transmitter Selector switch selected, transmissions cannot be made on the PA system.

Push – keys hand microphone for transmission, as selected by ASP transmission selector.

Cockpit Voice Recorder
Monitor Indicator
Pointer deflection indicates recording or erasure on all four channels (approximately a one second delay); during test, pointer rises into green band.
Area Microphone
Active anytime 115V AC is applied to airplane.
HEADSET Jack
Headset may be plugged into jack to monitor tone transmission during test, or to monitor playback of voice audio.
