General Aircraft engine emission standards have yet to he developed in the Republic of Belarus.

Remurks: Notice of Proposed Rule Making 99-2 to amend Civil Aviation Rules Parts 21 and 91 to incorporate
aircraft noise and engine emission Staidards proposes that from the effective date of Amendment 4
(circa April 2000):
No person shall operate an aircraft to or from any aerodrome within New Zealand after 3 1 March 2002
unless that aircraft meets the applicable standard category engine emission standards prescribed in
Appendix C to Civil Aviation Rules Part 2 1.
The standard category engine emission standards are:
(1) Volume I1 of Annex 16 to the Convention; or
(2) A set of airworthiness design standards acceptable to the Director
General UK requirements relating to vented fuel and emissions of smoke and unburiled hydrocarbons follow those
in the first (1981) edition of Annex 16, Volume 11. It is intended that legislation currently being prepared
in the UK will incorporate a reference to all the standards and applicability dates in Annex 16, Volume 11,
up to and including Amendment 4.

1. Amendment No. 1 to the Supplement to Annex 16, Volume 11, provides additional information received from
Contracting States up to 22 October 2003 with respect to all amendments up to and including Amendment 4.
2. To incorporate this amendment:
a) replace existing pages (iii) and (iv) by the attached new pages dated 22110103; and
b) record the entry of this amendment on page (ii) of the Supplement.
