CRASH RESISTANT, HIGH CAPACITY FUEL SYSTEM
To accommodate longer range requirements and increased safety, the MD 600N™ now incorporates a 115 gal (435 l) crash-resistant fuel system. The system utilizes puncture resistant fuel bladders and self-sealing tank fittings meeting the requirements of FAR Part 27
DUAL FLIGHT CONTROLS

Duplicates controls for copilot. Easily removed, even in the field, without tools. Allows aircraft tobe used for training, dual-pilot VFR, or as a revenue generating passenger seat at the owner’s discretion. Left-hand command is standard.

LARGE, WIDE CABIN DOORS
To enhance loading and unloading of the MD 600N’s large cabin flat floor, double center-opening doors have been incorporated into the standard design. These doors allow a full 62 inch (157 cm) opening and feature double locking mechanisms to ensure secure closing. All doors are equipped with gas-struts to provide open holding operation during loading/unloading.
ENGINE INLET PARTICLE SEPARATOR
Installed weight = 13.2 lb. (6.0 kg).
Centrifugal-vortex air flow cover for the engine efficiently traps sand and dust (FOD) which might otherwise damage the engine compressors. It has been demonstrated to be 92% efficient down to 3 microns of particulates. A bleed air ejector expels contaminants overboard.
QUICK-RELEASE DOOR HINGES

INSTRUMENT CONSOLE SLANT PANEL

Provides additional room for communication and navigation in the console between the pilot and co-pilot. Location allows moving communications equipment closer to pilot for ease of operation and tilts displays for improved readability.
INDIVIDUAL CABIN SEATING
Standard seating for the MD 600N® includes a forward, aft cabin bench seat that is reversible, allowing forward or aft facing seating. Shown to the right are individual forward seats that are also reversible.

33.5 GALLON AUXILIARY FUEL SYSTEM

Provides extra hour of flight time at speed for maximum endurance. Fully qualified crash-resistant design to FAA Part 27. Fits under rear seat. Includes fuel quantity gauge on tank. Compatible with business seat option.
AIRFRAME FUEL FILTER
Installed weight = 6.7 lb. (2.9 kg)
Designed to strip fuel of ice particles prior to entering the engine fuel system. Filter incorporates a filter unit mounted in series between the aircraft fuel system and engine fuel system. Automatic illumination cockpit caution warning. When the filter becomes fully clogged, a bypass valve contained in the filter unit opens and fuel by-passes the filter element. Ice additives required for fuel temperatures below -12 °C.
HEATER TRANSPORT, SINGLE LITTER KIT

3 pins secure a universal equipment rack that replaces the standard rear seat. Consists of mounting rails which accept standard seat floor fittings that can be attached to equipment frame. Allows quick removal and replacement of standard seat.
