2.3.8 In the aviation user protocol (designated by bits 37

marking shall be encoded in bits 40 through 81, using
the modified Baud01 code shown in Table 5- 1 to encode seven
alpha-numeric characters. This data shall be right justified with
the modified Baudot space ("lFK1100) being used where no
character exists.
2.3.9 Bits 84 and 85 shall indicate any homing lransmitter
that may be integrated in the ELT.
